The MechMaxx BH660 Backhoe Attachment provides a 7‑foot digging depth for tractors working in tight or restricted areas. Its hydraulic thumb offers a simple, durable solution for gripping rocks, roots, and debris during excavation and cleanup tasks.

A reinforced boom and bucket linkage support routine digging work, while the 3‑point hitch connection integrates with compatible tractors for small‑scale excavation and property‑maintenance projects.

Fits Category I/II 3‑Point Tractors

Hydraulic vs Mechanical: Hydraulic thumbs deliver powered control and speed; mechanical thumbs are manual, fixed‑angle, and budget‑friendly.

Note！
Review the specifications of both the backhoe and the tractor — including recommended PTO horsepower, minimum tractor weight, rear lift capacity, hitch type, PTO speed, and connection — to ensure compatibility. If you are unsure, please contact us.
Please ensure all pivot pin set screws are fully tightened during assembly. If needed, re-tighten and apply threadlocker to secure the pin and prevent loosening during use.
Before use, check and grease all grease fittings on the machine.
Add approx. 4 gallons of hydraulic oil before first use, then add approx. 2 more gallons after startup.
Do not raise the 3-point hitch after the backhoe is attached to your tractor, as it may cause damage.

Digging Depth (two foot flat bottom)

All-round 6’6” digging depth extension capability allows access to hard-to-reach areas without the need for mobile equipment.

180° Swing Arc

The digging boom allows for a 180-degree swing from side to side. This allows you to dig into those tight spots and dump the dirt where you want it.

High quality control valve are developed by Italian technology, with high precision and shows very exact control features, offers smooth and precise operation.

Self-contained Gear Pump & Hydraulic Oil Tank

The self-contained gear pump and hydraulic tank operate independently of the tractor's hydraulic system. Provide stable flow and pressure. Easy to install, superior to PTO driveshaft. (Note! We don't recommend using the tractor's hydraulic ports to power the backhoe. Unstable flow can cause unsmooth operation. Moreover, the MechMaxx backhoe has its own filtration system. Using tractor hydraulics may contaminate the hydraulic oil, damaging components like pump and cylinder.)

ISO or SAE Control Pattern

Allow you to change the control pattern between ISO or SAE to suit your preference.

Replaceable Bushings & Pins

Replaceable bushings & pins simply replacing, easy maintenance. A full line of replacement parts can be quickly provided.

Standard Hose Fittings

JIC(Joint Industrial Council) style hose fittings are rated for 5000 psi. Usually easy to get if you need to replace hydraulic hoses. Not troubled by mismatched joint threads.

Hydraulic Thumb

The hydraulic thumb makes it very convenient to pick up rocks, branches and bushes, and the thumb position can be adjusted from the operator's seat for easier picking.

Backhoe attachment is everything I hoped for. Works great and the hydrolic thumb is perfect. And it was a pleasure dealing with customer service. The manual tube was broken in shipping and was replaced

This is a great attachment! Fit like a glove onto a Kioti CK2620, extremely simple and easy to assemble. Not to mention the easy to read and follow instructions that comes with the backhoe. We were a little skeptical about buying equipment on line , however we are thrilled about our 8' backhoe attachment we bought from Mechmaxx! Out tractor is a 62 hp and it works well together. Needed a small backhoe for multiple projects and one to fit my 20hp tractor. Was very impressed how it was shipped, everything covered in plastic and secure. Works well, and built very well for its price point.

Wanted a smaller backhoe that I could use with my kubota l2950 or my TYM T474 , watched some videos on it. Video looked like it operated smooth and had good power. I was amazed at the amount of power this backhoe has!! Dug up twelve huge stumps and was amazed at the ability of this little backhoe and how smooth it operates. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a universal backhoe with great power!

The backhoe attachment works very well and does exactly the job we needed it for. Assembly was a bit tedious, and it's important to follow the directions closely to get everything put together correctly. Delivery was impressively quick, and the attachment arrived safely wrapped and protected. Overall, we're happy with the purchase and its performance.

Benn watching videos over this unit until i decided to finally buy 1. I will say the little backhoe packs a punch. This thing hasnt let me down yet. The quick attachment comes in handy for swapping buckets out with ease. If your look for a cost effective unit that doesn't hook to your small tractors hydraulic system this is definitely the unit you need to buy

Great machine and well built. Purchased to dig ditches and fix a few drain issues. I have been very impressed with its capabilities. I have used it for ditch digging, reason for purchase, but have also used it to dig out my damaged pond, repaired my bridge and dug a ditch to run electrical conduit. It has not let me down. The 9 foot reach is a plus for getting across my creek and down in the creek. I have used this equipment for things I didn't even think about. It is a great value and very durable. Customer service is top notch from before purchase and after. Friendly and very knowledgeable about their products.
