MechMaxx 72” Working Width Finishing Mower for Tractor

OK. I'll get this figured out one of these days.. I guess you can't use shift + enter to get a new line like with a chat program. Wanted to note that I'm running the 6' foot finish mower on a JD 1025R (18HP at the PTO) with no issues and plenty of power, if anyone has concerns with such a large mower on a small tractor. I mentioned mowing a 1 acre yard, but also used it to mow my smaller front yard. With a 6 foot cut, I think I spent more time turning than I did actually mowing! Wentfrom 1 hour with the push mower to about 15-20 minutes with the MechMaxx. Praise the LORD! If anyone reading this doesn't know Jesus Christ as their personal saviour, today is the day and now is the time to come to him for saving grace! He came to die and pay the price for sinners like you and me so we can have an eternal home with him and not have to pay our own sins in a lake of fire. Don't go into eternity without Him!

The mowing deck arrived quickly after the order. The support team was quick to respond to questions about the assembly and pleasant to work with. The mower did a nice job mowing grass that had been ignored since my previous deck broke.

Shipping on this mower was fast. Easy to put together. I have about 10hrs on it so far and am very happy with how its built and how it mows. I am using it behind a john deere 2038R.

I am very pleased !!! It is heavier and better made than I had expected. I have 11 acres and I kept the front 3 acres mowed to look nice. The only small improvement would be to make the protective covering on the two ends of the pot driveshaft removable or movable to access the zirc fittings there better. This is a common problem with maybe all pto drives. I cut a piece of the plastic covering away and cut a plastic bucket to fit over the access.

Only a short time using the 6' finish mower, but so far very happy with the cut and performance. It's only been through 1 complete mow from start to finish due to me being a dummy and forgetting to grease the middle spindle before the first use, causing the middle blade to work loose. After a good greasing and tightening the blade, no issues! Go figure ...
Also 5 five stars to customer service. One of the wheels was damaged in shipping and I was sent a new set of four in less than a week after e-mailing MechMaxx support.
Probably like a lot of folks, I was a little hesitant to buy from MechMaxx at first, but for the price and service I have no regrets and would definitely recommend to anyone that asks.

FM180 arrived well packaged, some assembly required, not complicated at all. I was pleased to see all the grease fittings used on this machine, also construction is very solid. Deck is loud when operating, takes some getting used to, in comparison to my 757 John Deere zero turn. Does a fantastic job on 8 acres of grass land.

The FM180 is an excellent finishing mower that makes quick work of my property. The 72-inch cutting width saves me time while leaving the fields with a manicured look. Hookup to my tractor is simple, and it runs smooth with no vibration. A reliable and efficient piece of equipment.

I needed a 3 point finishing mower for my Kubota BX2350 and I was excited to find such a good quality mower from MechMaxx. The online salesrep assured me that the attachments would fit my subcompact tractor. I got a bit nervous after I ordered it when I began to hear about scammers misrepresenting MechMaxx. But it arrived ontime as scheduled and I had minimal problems putting it together. BUT the PTO shaft is too long and it had to be cut by a machine shop. Its been 3 weeks since its arrival and I havent been able to use it yet. Noone told me that it was necessary to cut the PTO shaft. Why cant it be done at the factory if they know what it is for??

I've been using the FM180 for several months, and it continues to impress me. It handles both pasture grass and lawn areas equally well, leaving a clean, professional cut every time. The wide working width makes it efficient, and the build quality is strong. Very pleased with this purchase.

I haven't had a chance to use the mower on my tool cat due to issues with the rear PTO. I had it put on my JD 3046 tractor. I did have to purchase a 3 point quick hitch adapter to get this hooked up properly and put in spacers to keep it tight. It works great. I adjusted the height 3 times until I have it mowing close to 3.5'' and now dropped it to about 3.25''. It mows fairly evenly considering I do not have even terrain to mow. I just got mt tool cat back and want it on that unit. I think the spacers will need to removed as well as the quick hitch adapter. However, not sure. Worth the investment!

I ordered a 72" finish mower and extra blades and extra belts. The mower finally got here after 6 weeks. The extra belts I finally got last week. The extra blades I never did get.

mower works very well. very heavy duty and well built
