This thing is a beast of a machine.

This machine is a beast! I use it to mow 5 foot high weeds and wildflowers on rough and wet ground.
Positives: It mulches better than rotary cutters, so less need to rake up debris. The tracks help on wet soil. Electric starting is great.
Negatives: The skids and height adjustment are too shallow for rough stony ground. I extended the height adjustment with a 3/4 inch steel rod as shown in the photo. It’s a little too much. Use a shorter one.
The steering brake levers require giant hands. I modified them by inserting hitch pin clips into an unused hole in the levers to reduce travel (see photo). You have to carefully adjust the cables for this to work.

Great machine! I received it a week ago and just started cutting through HEAVY brush and vines. I’m 60 years old and live 40 acres of heavily wooded land. You don’t have to man handle this machine but you do have to operate. I had a problem with the on/off switch which turned out to be operator error on my part! The team helped me identify my error through videos and emails and treated me with respect the entire time. Great machine and awesome technical support!!!

The machine does exactly what you think it should do

This machine is great! I've taken back an overgrown field and the mower was flawless. My only complaints are it's slow, but I don't think it could mow any faster if it is expected to function and not clog. The brake levers are also not smooth. It is definitely a forearm workout. I'm fat , 56 out of shape and handled it no problem.

Arrived in great shape and assembly was easy. The engine started right up after preparing per the instructions. The first experience proved this to be a great purchase the machine is a BEAST! It climbs hill and chews up everything in its path. Easy to operate too. I will get a lot of great use out of this purchase as I have acres of land that need attention.
