MechMaxx TSG61 24'' Cutting Wheel Hydraulic Cylinders Stump Grinder

I have removed 22 stumps to date, both soft and hard wood and of varying sizes. The machine has worked very well. I saved the shipping frame, modified it a bit and use it to move the machine around my barn when not in use.

Shipping was fast. Arrived in perfect condition and simple to assemble. I use with a 60hp Mahindra and it consumes stumps with ease. The horizontal and vertical control make for precise grinding. Enjoyable to use and results are excellent.

Was looking for an affordable stump grinder and found this one online.
I am very happy with the build quality of this unit. I have close to one hundred stumps to grind and am sure this will get it done. My tractor didn't have a third valve so I just used the hydraulics for the front end loader to operate the grinder.

Had the grinder for a few months now and have been very happy with it. It has shredded new and old stumps pretty easily, even cedar. There is a learning curve with the best lesson is to take off about an inch with each pass. Stump goes quickly.

This stump grinder is a beast and makes quick work of grinding stumps. I've ground over 50 large stumps so far many of which had large root flares. The stumps were pine, hickory, oak, cedar, cherry and maple. Some of the stumps were freshly cut others were cut in past years. The 5 star rating is based on the exceptional quality and productivity vs. The price.

Working very good I like it.

Very helpful in the ordering process for any questions I had. Shipping was far faster than expected. Stump grinder is honestly, better than expected. A few gaps in assembly instructions but not that difficult. Hint, if you look closely at the PTO surround that protects the slip clutch, 6 bolts will allow you to remove a portion of the cover which will allow you to tighten the PTO pin bolts. That really should be mentioned in the instructions. Other than that…very pleased with process and product.

Assembly is straightforward. Machine works well. So long as it's not abused, it should last me a very long time. Do follow the book regarding operation.

Keep the shipping frame. I removed one side to hook to the machine and take it out. I kept the rest of the frame intact. Then I painted the frame and added caster wheels. This makes a handy storage cradle for the machine.

Received this a week ago. Easy to put together. Already used it to remove two large stumps about 36” across and two smaller stumps. Worked very well on our Kubota tractor. Have about 80 more stumps to use it on.

I had my reservations buying this - considering a similar domestic product is $4-$8K, but I've been very positively surprised. It does work as advertised. Works great. Hydraulics are adjustable. Note that it requires a 3rd function unless your tractor is provisioned for it like my TYM. On a Kubota you would need to add another line. My tractor is 58HP.

This stump grinder can do any job u wish. U can cut down a 5 foot oak stump in less than a couple hours. Takes some movement but it is so difficult and hard to git a professional stump grinder to come out.

I have ground down over two dozen stumps now ranging from 18 inches to 5 feet and still on original teeth. I have it on a 51 HP Kubota tractor and it works excellent with this grinder.

My only complaint is that they accepted my KY Farm Tax except certificate but the accounting would NOT honor it after they said they would.

Have removed 5 stumps so far and it works great. Just feed it slow, keep the rpms up.
