  • The MechMaxx BH760 backhoe is a reliable solution for a wide range of digging and excavation tasks. Designed to fit CAT I & II 3-point hitch tractors, it requires a minimum of 20 PTO horsepower and a tractor weight of at least 2,300 lbs. This backhoe is ideal for ditching on farms and grazing lands, digging pools, cleaning waterways, as well as assistant excavating work in construction and building roads.
  • Max. 8 ft digging depth. 180° boom swing & 180° bucket rotation. Enable you to easily complete comprehensive mining tasks.
  • Hydraulic thumb and 15" bucket included. More sizes of buckets and attachments available.
  • Two hydraulic stabilizer legs with replaceable rubber pads, help to prevent tipping, reduce damage to supporting surfaces.
  • Equipped with a self-contained gear pump and hydraulic oil tank. Quick installation, reliable performance.
  • Allow you to change the control pattern between ISO or SAE to suit your preference.Note！
  • Review the specifications of both the backhoe and the tractor — including recommended PTO horsepower, minimum tractor weight, rear lift capacity, hitch type, PTO speed, and connection — to ensure compatibility. If you are unsure, please contact us.
  • Please ensure all pivot pin set screws are fully tightened during assembly. If needed, re-tighten and apply threadlocker to secure the pin and prevent loosening during use.
  • Before use, check and grease all grease fittings on the machine.
  • Add approx. 4 gallons of hydraulic oil before first use, then add approx. 2 more gallons after startup.
  • Do not raise the 3-point hitch after the backhoe is attached to your tractor, as it may cause damage.

The self-contained gear pump and hydraulic tank operate independently of the tractor's hydraulic system. Provide stable flow and pressure. Easy to install, superior to PTO driveshaft. (Note! We don't recommend using the tractor's hydraulic ports to power the backhoe. Unstable flow can cause unsmooth operation. Moreover, the MechMaxx backhoe has its own filtration system. Using tractor hydraulics may contaminate the hydraulic oil, damaging components like pump and cylinder.)

Regarding tractor compatibility, ensure that the tractor’s PTO HP and 3-point hitch are compatible with the backhoe, and that it meets the minimum weight requirement for safe operation. If the tractor is too light, it can become unstable during travel or operation. To improve stability and reduce tipping hazards, add front ballast as needed. Additionally, take into account factors like speed and terrain slope. Above all, always prioritize safety during operation.
