MBW R422 Compaction Rammer

Compact soil in tight trenches and confined work areas without losing control or impact force. The MBW R422 is built for crews working in granular, mixed, and cohesive soils where a maneuverable rammer is needed to prepare foundations, utilities, and backfill.

The design supports trench applications with elevated bellows placement that helps protect the percussion system from ground contact and debris. A contoured fuel tank supports extended operation and helps manage engine noise during use. Power is supplied by Honda engines, offering dependable performance for daily jobsite demands.

The 11‑inch ductile iron shoe is engineered for durability in repeated tamping applications, and the polyethylene slide bearings are designed to reduce friction and support consistent movement within the percussion system.

This model is suitable for contractors and municipalities needing a compact rammer that fits tight spaces while supporting steady compaction performance across a range of soil types.
