MechMaxx MEC10 Mini Excavator with HONDA GX390 Engine

This is a good solid machine for its size and price range. I chose mechmaxx over similar Amazon deals because of the service and support. Talked with a real human who speaks english and shipping was quick and secure. No problems with the purchase and confident in future support for parts and maintenance. They honda motor is ample for the machine it operates well at half throttle and have only had to give it a full throttle a few times even though I am one who pushes the limits with tools and machines. The hydraulics are tight at first but break in nice and are stronger than what the machine can handle. If you're not an experienced operator I suggest only working on level ground and light loads. I dug out a tree stump that was bigger than me and I'm 300 pounds. It picked it up and loaded on the truck but traveling down the hill with it was sketchy and even moving railroad ties rocks it pretty good. Be cautious and maintain center of gravity when moving heavy loads. Low throttle and smooth movement keeps it safe but I would suggest a bigger machine if you constantly have big loads. Great for digging and moving dirt and gravel and attachments are easy to change out by yourself. Haven't used the hammer yet but it is heavy duty and feels as solid as ones I've used on bigger machines. Auger works good but got to give it a little more throttle than normal digging. All in all a great machine for home or jobs in tight places. I've worked it really hard for the last 3 months and it just shrugs it off. Its already paid for itself in the use and should live longer than I will.

Delivery of the excavator was prompt with plenty of communication. It arrived succored in a box and was easy to maneuver and dismantle. The excavator itself is exactly what we were looking for. We will be using it to install a French drain, sprinkler pipes and drainage lines among other things and it looks like it will be perfect for these jobs.

This machine has helped me so much! Is powerful and very compacted for house projects. Im very confident and recommend anyone to buy this machine to help you dig or do other projects. Buy the attachments they are very useful!

This mini excavator was a great investment hands down. Never operated an excavator before and only took me a few hours to get the hang of it. I have a total of 15 hours on the machine so far and haven’t had any issues. Just make sure to grease the fittings every now and then. The best thing is that it has Honda engine in it so you know it’s going to last forever. I planted 8 trees after getting this machine and saved my back from hours of digging. Definitely worth it the money since I will be using it a lot more in spring. Make sure to buy it ahead of time. I contemplated and it took me a little longer to get due to back order.

The mini excavator has been great! My Dad was needing something that could do the lifting for him. Also, he needed something so he wouldn’t need to use a shovel. This has worked great! We have used it to take out 4 cedar trees. We dig up the roots and took out the trees. The thumb allowed us to load the trailer without having to pick up the tree and limb pieces manually.
Great packaging. We also got the accessories kit. The quick adapter is handy. We took the top off to fit in the garage. Very smooth hydraulic operation.

The Mech Max Mini Excavator showed up well‑packaged and fully assembled, which made things super easy. It’s solidly built, feels durable, and handles yard projects without a problem. I looked at a lot of mini excavators before settling on the MEC10.
I am very happy with the fit and finish and quality of the machine , I bought the auger attachment with it witch works awesome also the 4 piece attachment set - After getting it uncrated it was as simple as putting the choke on , turning the key and was ready to go - nothing else - started working with it right away - 12 hrs and not a single issue so far -- I'm in love with this machine !!!

My son has a small homestead that needs cleaning up and done light construction work. After researching mini excavators, we decided on this one do to features, reliable engine, and price. The delivery carrier dropped the ball causing a delay, but MechTech was beyond helpful in rectifying the situation. The unit is in site, and performing flawlessly. Simply put, we made the right choice in our casing the mec10 mini excavator.

My mini excavator was ready to start up and go right out of the box. I am very surprised how strong it actually is. I ordered the 4 piece attachment set thinking I would need the ripper to break through the layer of clay but was able to go right through it with the bucket it came with. It is a very well built machine and worth every penny.

This is a follow-up on the MEC10 after 20 hours of heavy use. To this point, it has outperformed my expectations by far. Pros: Fast hydraulics for digging, strong pushing with the dozer blade, everything works, it is cheaper than a tractor backhoe, and it is well-built. Cons: It tracks at 1.5mph, the metal around the seat base gets hot to the touch, and the canopy is too tall for a standard garage door. I cut my canopy down so it would go in the garage. I added a small fan under my seat to pull cool air into the engine compartment.

Extremely happy with this purchase. It took less than a week for shipping, and I picked it up from the transportation warehouse. They kept me updated during this time. After I've been using it for about a month now, I found that the excavator is very well balanced and solid in the one-ton category. It has a solid cast iron counter weight in the back to keep the machine more stable compared to some other one-ton excavators with hollow sheet metal. Other highlights of the excavator are built-in hydraulic thumb, armrests, spot light, etc. There're a couple of suggestions however I hope they can improve in the future. One is the quick attachment adaptor. The other one is throttle adjustment if it can be adjusted outside or auto adjustment even better. Overall, I highly recommend this excavator if you're looking for a one-ton machine. Thank you, Mechmaxx!
